I’ve been very lucky to photograph several intimate weddings this year. They always end up being some of my favorites. Tani + Steph’s intimate Misty Valley wedding was one of the most special, heartfelt weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. They spent a lot of time working on their ceremony and their ketubah to make it really unique to them. It was so beautiful and really moved me. Their first look was full of tears and smiles. Cara and I had goosebumps all day as we both captured all of the sweet little moments between these two and their families. I hope you really love these images as much as I love them. Congrats, Tani + Steph!
A special note about Steph’s wedding gown… Steph bought her gown from The Bride’s Project in Ann Arbor. I LOVE this place. Here is a little bit about this awesome gown shop from the Bride’s Project’s website: “The Brides Project (TBP) opened in September 2011. We are a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to raising funds for the programs of the Cancer Support Community (CSC) of Greater Ann Arbor through the sale of donated bridal gowns. Once-worn gowns donated by brides or unsold gowns donated by bridal shops are available for brides-to-be to purchase at a considerable savings. All profits from the sale of the gowns go to the CSC to support programs and services for people touched by cancer”
