I’m so excited to share this classic Detroit Gem Theatre wedding. From start to finish this day was some kind of magic. The day started on a perfect fall day at Detroit’s Aloft at The David Whitney. Both Billie and Ben got ready there and shared their first look on the platform of the People Mover just outside the hotel. We almost got shut down by Detroit finest but instead of raining on our parade, they just suggested more epic spots for pictures. A true testament to Detroit’s amazing and welcoming vibe.
We hopped on the party bus and headed to Hart Plaza. We took in the stunning Detroit skyline with the sun on our faces and lots of laughter from their bridal party. After, we headed to the Gem Theatre and Billie and Ben made it official on the stage of the Gem with Nicole from A Simple I Do. Then while their guests mingled on the patio and in the Century, the amazing Jen House Design team flipped the theatre and made legit magic with red florals and gold accents. But I gotta say, my favorite detail was the cake by Sweet Heather Anne. The detail on this beauty was unreal. It was an actual masterpiece, I’m so happy I got to spend a little time photographing it. The Bluewater Kings kept the party all night.
You guys, this day was just so so good. I hope you love these images. I know I do.
Congrats, Billie + Ben! Hopefully I’ll see you two in LA soon! <3
