Over the last two years, I’ve taken a step back from family sessions. I’m not really sure why, I think I just got burnt out. I mean, at one point I shot 25 families/engagements/seniors in 5 weeks. It was just too much. Over the last year though I’ve really been missing it. I miss the laughter, I miss the moments between the posed smiles where the real magic happens.
2015 is my 5th year of business and I’ve finally learned what I’m good at and what I’m not. I’ve learned about what makes my heart sing and what totally kills my vibe. I’m not a newborn photographer. That much I know. Honestly, I’m not even a baby/small child photographer. My happy place is families with older children or families were kids are at least 4-5 years old.
I’m learning everything is great in moderation. In 2015, I’m hoping to photograph a lot more families but I will be putting limits on how many/month I’ll be photographing. If you are interested, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your spring, summer or fall session!
One thing I’ve really, really cut back on is seniors. I am honestly not really sure why. I love love love seniors! This year I photographed one senior and from start to finish, it was absolute magic. I’m planning on photographing at least 5 senior girls this summer/fall. If you are interested in booking your senior session with me, please email me!! email@example.com
